For Visitors
Shrewsbury Open Studios takes place on various weekends throughout the year. Please refer to our event schedule for specific dates.
Shrewsbury Open Studios is primarily run by volunteers, and while we have received a grant from Visual Arts Network, we aim to be self-sustaining. Artists are asked to pay a fee to participate, and we also welcome small donations from visitors for printed maps and studio visits. Donation boxes can be found at English Bridge Studios
While we strive to ensure accessibility, not all studios may have wheelchair access. We recommend contacting individual studios directly for accessibility information.

You can check an artist’s profile or refer to the map to see which studios are open on a particular weekend.
If you wish to visit an artist’s studio outside of the scheduled Shrewsbury Open Studios events, please contact them directly to make an appointment.

Yes, public liability insurance is required to participate in Shrewsbury Open Studios.

While primarily focusing on Shrewsbury, we welcome participants from across Shropshire. However, you may not be included on the printed map if you’re not based in Shrewsbury. Nevertheless, your profile and location will still be featured on our website.
Applications received after April 19th will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We encourage interested individuals to contact us as soon as possible, as we aim to include as many participants as possible in our event.
